BEFORE OZ
Before Oz tells the story of L. Frank Baum and the twists and turns his life takes on the road to writing “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. Follow Frank and his beloved wife Maud as they venture from Syracuse to the Dakota Territory to Chicago, all the while gaining inspiration for the fantastical characters and places we all know from Oz. This magical show reveals the story of the man behind the curtain as he writes one of the greatest children’s stories of all time!
Run time: 100 - 120 minutes

BEFORE OZ: ABRIDGED
There is an abridged edition of Before Oz available. The abridged script is still a full-length play, however it is shorter than the original version with scenes and lines changed and omitted for length and to lower the line count. Contact Lauren Grove for more information.
